If you happen to be in Chandler on the first Wednesday of the month then you need to check out the ArtWalk in the old Historic District of the city. Between trading your cash for gold jewelry or a new top, you can check out some of the area's best local artists on display. This area of the city is also great for shopping and finding an awesome restaurant to relax after a long day. The Chandler Center for the Arts is also located in this district if you're interested in spending the evening at the theater.

Rawride at Wild Horse Pass is an excellent way to step back in time to the 1880s for the day. Bring your kids and experience everything from wagon rides to Wild West shootouts between the site's various performers. You can also leave the kids at home and come out for a great steak and some country music. Maybe after a day of discussing gold bullion prices in meetings, you're looking to get away in a fashion that only the Wild West can provide.

Veterans Oasis Park and the Environmental Education Center are over one hundred acres of hiking trails and preserved wetlands. At the Education Center you can attend classes and lectures on a variety of interesting topics or just check out some of the nature exhibits that they have on display. If you've got a child who's interested in the world around then and maybe decorates their room with words on walls of nature quotes, this could be the perfect place for them to experience something they're passionate about.

The Hamilton Aquatics Center is another great location for the whole family. There are two waterslides, a zero depth entry play pool and a current river. If your kids are more interested in extreme sports and broadcasts of Democracy Now there is also a 35,000 square foot skate park located in Chandler.

Arizona is known for its gold courses and Chandler's Bear Creek is one of the best. They have both an 18-hole par 71-championship course and a short course with a par of 59.
